The Coaching Process
Starting with partnership — Curiosity, creativity and weirdness are all meaningful. There's no influencer content here, nor motivational speeches.
Made for practical momentum.
Driven by long-term well-being.
At Circle Pit Wellness, a health and wellness coach considers what’s realistic and helps clients
- Direct their own decisions
- Explore applied behavioral science
- Leverage internal motivations
- Reduce habit binges
- Develop sustainable accountability
- Build neuroplasticity
- Engage in somatic processing
The process pairs intrinsic motives with the science of behavior and movement studies.
As progress is not linear, the coaching process does not involve sequential steps.
Here are the key elements:
Vision
Create a vision that prioritizes individual preferences, motivations and values
Long-term focus
Identify goals and realistic strategies for sustaining lifestyle changes that support the established vision
Feedback loops
Review feedback signals and figure out how they reflect, construct and reinforce outcomes
Accountability
Integrate actionable steps into daily life to reinforce the long-term focus
Sense of being
Rather than just doing, develop a sense of being with both top-down and bottom-up approaches
—
Coaching sessions are integrative.
The client is in the driver's seat while the coach becomes part of their feedback loop. Circle Pit Wellness coaches do not give advice. Rather, they lean into methods for guiding individual progress, which include:
Appreciative Inquiry and the 5-D Cycle
Motivational Interviewing
Stoic Philosophy for mental resilience
Mindful Movement to explore edges and repattern abilities
The process leans into partnership, resilience and cognitive frameworks. The Circle Pit Wellness frequency #wellness-coaching is a good place to learn more.
*Remember, this is a collaborative of humans uninterested in commercial influence. So, we're intentionally finding other means of connection outside of social media.
